Roger L. Cox Jr., PA-C

Roger L. Cox Jr., PA-CRoger Cox, PA-C has provided medical services as a physician assistant in the Pacific Northwest since 1982. He started working for Dr. Kain in 2004 and transitioned over to WestSound Orthopaedics in 2005. Roger brings a great wealth of orthopaedic knowledge and experience with him and he works closely with our orthopaedic surgeons. His duties include initial patient evaluations, follow-up care and surgical assistance.

When Roger isn't busy working, he is spending time with his family, boating, and camping.

Ismael C. Vargas, PA-C

Ismael C. Vargas, PA-CIsmael Vargas, PA-C has provided medical services as a physician assistant in the Pacific Northwest since 1998. He started working for Dr. Watters in 2006 and joined WestSound Orthopaedics in February of 2008. Ismael's clinical history has exclusively been in the area of orthopaedics making him instrumental in assisting our physicians in the evaluation and treatment of our patients. His duties include initial patient evaluations, follow-up care and surgical assistance.

Outside of work, Ismael enjoys trips to Yakima to see family, restoring classic cars, and watching old movies.

Mimi Smith Danielson, ARNP

Mimi Smith Danielson, ARNP has been providing medical care in the Pacific Northwest as both a registered nurse and nurse practitioner since 1967. Mimi spends time with our patients providing education to promote good "bone health" as well as providing treatment for osteoporosis. She also assists our patients in providing medical nail care/foot care, and wound care.

Outside of work Mimi teams up with her husband in a family owned business and she enjoys gardening as well as traveling.

Philip Najera, MSPT

Philip Najera, MSPTPhil Najera, MSPT has worked as a physical therapist in our community since 2000. He joined WestSound Orthopaedics in July of 2007 as Head of our Physical Therapy Department. Phil has extensive experience in the full spectrum of physical therapy evaluations and treatments. Phil works closely with our team of surgeons to optimize our patients’ mobility.

Outside of work, Phil spends time with his family, plays hockey, enjoys golf, and likes to ride his motorcycle.  In the office, he is known as “Mr. Sports.”

Steven Reich, MSPT

Steven Reich, MSPTSteven Reich, MSPT has worked as a physical therapist in our community since 2004. Steve joined WestSound Orthopaedics in September of 2007.  He has experience working with a wide variety of orthopaedic and neurological injuries and meets with our physicians regularly.

Outside of work, Steve enjoys fishing, hiking, and martial arts.

Ramona Reich, PT, CHTRamona Reich, PT has worked as a physical therapist in our community since 2004. She joined WestSound Orthopaedics in November of 2007. Ramona's extensive physical therapy experience with a primary focus on hand therapy.

Outside of work, Ramona has a real passion for photography.

Kim Snyder, Sports Trainer

Kim Snyder, ATC, Sports TrainerKim Snyder has been an athletic trainer for eight years in our community and joined WestSound Orthopaedics in November of 2007. She has extensive experience in working with people with a vast array of sports-related injures. Kim works with our sports-medicine team to optimize our patients’ return to activity levels.

Outside of work, Kim enjoys spending time with her children.
