Dr. Stacee Kessinger is board-certified in orthopaedic surgery with a sub-specialty in foot and ankle surgery. Dr. Kessinger completed her undergraduate work at New Mexico State University and her medical degree at the University of Colorado.
Upon completion of her residency at John Peter Smith Hospital, she joined the US Air Force. She began her orthopaedic practice as a Major where she served as a general orthopaedic surgeon for troops and their family members at RAF Lakenheath in the United Kingdom. Her practice focused on the treatment of a wide range of orthopaedic problems including pediatrics, trauma, and sports medicine.
After completing her service in the US Air Force, Dr. Kessinger elected to pursue sub-specialization in the field of foot and ankle surgery. She completed her fellowship at the Foot and Ankle Center of South Texas.
Dr. Kessinger believes that as an orthopaedic foot and ankle surgeon she brings a special dimension to the field of foot and ankle care. Her training as a medical doctor, first, and an orthopaedic surgeon, second, provides her with the ability to understand the complex medical, musculoskeletal, and neurobiological problems that can contribute to foot and ankle pathology.
